DK, Founder & Creative Gatherer
As a Creative Producer, DK has been crafting delicious learning experience for clients from large corporates to major government departments. He was the decade long ex-licensee of TEDxWellington / TEDxWellingtonWomen. In 2017 he founded the Creative Leadership NZ conference which connects visionary humans into a creative community to solve contemporary challenges, as well as the founder of unique video long-form podcast series, Creative Welly, courageous conversations with bold humans.
A 20-year long seasoned international facilitator and presenter, DK previously was the founder of MediaSnackers and through it has over a decade of working in the social media space consulting / delivering training on five continents to a cross-sector range of clients from UNICEF, Gates Foundation, BBC, Ubisoft, Hasbro plus spent time as a social media manager for a national education company in NZ.
DK is also a Speaker Coach, working with CEO’s and senior executives plus random ex-All Blacks, Olympians and Dame thrown into the mix. He delivers one-to-one consults plus internal masterclass sessions for select clients also. DK also MC’s and facilitates online events and sessions for brands globally plus recently has authored ‘Speaking With Purpose: A guide to delivering impressive presentations!‘ (inspired by his recent ‘The public speaking lesson you never had’ TEDx talk which has over one million views in two years and is featured on ted.com—see below).
He also established Collider, a city-wide program focused on transforming Wellington into an internationally recognised Smart Capital (with 200 events in 14 months with over 5000 attendees).
